Overview
Embark on a 7-day journey through the mystical kingdom of Bhutan, where culture, spirituality, and natural beauty intertwine. Begin your adventure in Paro, where your guide will warmly welcome you before you explore the National Museum. Travel through the scenic Paro Valley to the capital, Thimphu, where you’ll visit the National Memorial Chorten and the impressive Tashichho Dzong.
On Day 2, immerse yourself in Bhutan’s rich culture, from the panoramic views at Buddha Dordenma to the traditional arts at the Institute for Zorig Chusum. Discover Bhutan’s textile heritage and visit ancient temples like Changangkha Lhakhang. Conclude your day at the Simtokha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s oldest fortresses.
Day 3 takes you through the breathtaking Dochula Pass, with its 108 stupas, to the serene Punakha Valley. Visit the stunning Punakha Dzong and the country’s longest suspension bridge. Day 4 continues with a hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, offering panoramic views of the Punakha Valley, before heading to Wangdue to explore its historic fortress.
On Day 5, take an optional excursion to the Phobjikha Valley, home to the rare black-necked cranes, and visit the Gangtey Monastery. Afterward, return to Paro for a relaxing evening. Day 6 features a memorable hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, known as the Tiger’s Nest, followed by visits to Kyichu Lhakhang and Rinpung Dzong.
Your journey concludes on Day 7 with a final morning at leisure in Paro before your departure, leaving you with lasting memories of Bhutan’s rich culture and stunning landscapes.
